Aquatic Control Engineering Ltd
Formed in 1995, ACE have extensive experience in the supply and installation of specialist equipment for the water industry. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of equipment and services, from first inception through to delivery, offering tailored packages to suit our customer requirements.
As we all know, pumps have moving and electrical parts which will degrade over time so, unless you want to replace them every couple of years and put up with the associated disruption to your processes - good maintenance is vital. A typical Total Pump Life Cycle Cost analysis (based on 12 hours per day 220 days per year) indicates that energy consumption over a 5 year period represents 4.5 times that of the initial purchase price. Not surprisingy, over 10 years the ratio jumps to 9 times the pump’s purchase price. Optimum performance is one of the simplest ways of reducing a pump’s power consumption.
Bedford Pumps
Bedford Pumps are here to support the major water companies in keeping the taps and our wastewater flowing, which is essential for sanitation and health. We also help protect both infrastructure and lives by supporting the vital flood defence schemes.

Catchment Based Approach
The Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) is an inclusive, civil society-led initiative that works in partnership with Government, Local Authorities, Water Companies, businesses and more, to maximise the natural value of our environment. CaBA partnerships are actively working in all 100+ river catchments across England and cross-border with Wales, directly supporting achievement of many of the targets under the Government’s 25 Year Environment Plan.
What is the Catchment Based Approach? From the source of our rivers to the sea, across our towns, cities, countryside and coasts – a healthy water environment is essential to all of us. It provides us with the water we need to live and to run our businesses efficiently. It reduces the risk to our homes and livelihoods of flooding. A healthy water environment means better places to live, where people and wildlife flourish. In the past, management of the water environment has fallen to Government, to private companies and to landowners, often operating in isolation. The Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) embeds collaborative working at a river catchment scale, delivering a range of environmental, social and economic benefits and protecting our precious water environments for the benefit of us all.
Channeline International
Large diameter pipelines and culverts represent the backbone of any city’s utility network for the collection and disposal of sewerage and effective drainage of stormwater. In many cases the fabric of these pipelines, which may consist of brick, stone, concrete or clayware will have been constructed decades ago and although proven resilient, has eventually succumbed to the ravages of time, suffering the effects of H2S attack or erosion and may even be exhibiting signs of imminent failure due to structural loading beyond that of its remaining capability. At this point the need arises to consider the means by which the structural rehabilitation of these pipelines and ducts can be achieved whereby a new, 100-years plus life expectancy can be provided with a high degree of confidence. Channeline international has been providing bespoke Structural Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP / FRP) lining systems since the early 1980’s, during which time we have accumulated unrivaled engineering and manufacturing experience for both Circular and Non-circular buried infrastructure worldwide. Our Flexipave surfacing system allows water and air to penetrate directly through it in high volumes. Flexipave remains a product and brand that is exclusive to KBI UK. KB Industries developed the unique binding agent that holds the system together, and created the Flexipave name. As the popularity of Flexipave has increased, so has the desire from other surfacing suppliers to mimic the system. However, Flexipave remains the original and best. As a business, we made a conscious decision to only focus our efforts on Flexipave and its close relation Flexistone. Unlike many other surfacing contractors, we refuse to expand our range of products to include loads of different systems. Instead, we have strived to evolve into a trusted and knowledgeable business in the niche field of porous surfacing. As such, KBI now spends a significant number of man hours delivering CPD sessions on our unique systems, helping to improve the understanding about how the material works, and the benefits that porous surfacing can have in both urban a greenfield locations.

Too often drainage and sewage operators are only alerted to issues within the network when flooding occurs. UDlive's range of remote, radar-based, mm accurate level and flow monitors allow you to view the performance of your network in real time, identifying blockages and potential overflows, as well as analysing root causes for historic overflows. Configurable alerts and a live online dashboard allow you to make proactive decisions on maintenance, and pinpoint structural issues.
By addressing problems before they lead to a overflow, UDlive's smart monitors help you reduce overflows, lower the long-term cost of maintenance, and improve the service to both rate payers and the general public.
All UDlive devices use cellular connectivity, have a 7+ year battery life, and have an average installation time of 5 minutes. This means they are effectively 'plug-and-play', and can be deployed anywhere on your network at short notice
