LGA Coastal SIG

The Local Government Association Special Interest Group on Coastal Issues. The LGA Coastal SIG exists to champion and represent the collective interests of coastal, estuarine and maritime communities by increasing awareness and debate on environmental, economic and social issues at all levels in relation to the coast. We work in partnership with other organisations with complementary aims and bring pressure on the Government to secure local government’s full involvement at all levels of policy formulation concerning the coast. The Lead Authority for the LGA Coastal SIG is currently South Tyneside Council, who has held this position since September 2019. The Coastal Special Interest Group is part of the Local Government Association, its principal aim is to establish improved governance, management and community wellbeing to ensure that the UK has the best managed coast in Europe, and to identify appropriate and sustainable funding strategies to support this aim.

Pipeline Industries Guild
STAND: D10 The Pipeline Industries Guild was formed in 1957. Since then, it has evolved to be the only association world-wide to cater directly for the needs of the pipeline industry, regardless of engineering discipline, application, or qualification.

The Guild is the respected authority within all branches of the pipeline industry, and there are few pipeline engineering problems its members cannot solve. Part of its increasing and unique strength is the Guild's ability to attract members from all sides of the pipeline industry, whether they be concerned with deep-sea pipelines or with the latest developments on land in no-dig and minimal-disturbance pipe and duct-laying technology.
